Man decapitated in suspected terror attack in France: reports
One man has been decapitated and several injured in a suspected terror attack on an industrial-gas plant in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier in south-east France, local media reports said Friday. A loud explosion at the Air Products building went off at 9:50 a.m. local time, after a car burst onto the site, the Dauphiné Libéré reported. Local reports said there were two assailants involved, one of which brandished Islamic flags, but there remained some confusion as to whether the attacker acted alone. The head of the victim was found several feet from the body, attached to a fence. Police have surrounded the area, and a man has been taken in for questioning, reports said. French prosecutors are now opening a probe for murder and attempted murder in the suspected terror attack. Air Products and Chemicals Inc. , headquartered in Allentown, PA, is believed to own the site of the attack, Dow Jones Newswires reported. The company declined to confirm or deny the reports when contacted.
