Everton file appeal against second points deduction
April 15 – Everton have appealed against the two-point penalty imposed on the club in April for breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
Earlier this season, the club successfully had a 10-point penalty reduced to six points for the same breaches relating to last season’s reporting period.
When the Premier League announced the most recent sanction, Everton said they were “extremely concerned by the inconsistency of different commissions in respect of points deductions applied”.
