Eto’o says Cameroon sports ministry’s appointment of Brys is an illegal act
April 5 – The Cameroonian FA, Fecafoot, and its president Samuel Eto’o have rejected the appointment of national team manager Marc Brys by the sports ministry, claiming it breaks the law.
Earlier this week, Cameroon’s sports ministry picked the Belgian as the new manager of the Indomitable Lions, but Fecafoot had no hand in or knowledge of the appointment, and in a letter have called the appointment an ‘illegal’ act.
“The national federation cannot recognise these appointments made outside any legal and regulatory framework,” said Eto’o (pictured) in a letter,
