WATCH: Eagles' Doug Peterson guarantees win against Cowboys
Philly fans are now guaranteed a win Sunday at AT&T Stadium, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
The Eagles and Cowboys both enter Week 7 at 3-3 after losses Sunday. While Dallas lost its third straight game 24-22 to the previously winless Jets (1-3), Philadelphia lost 38-20 while visiting the Vikings (4-2).
Despite the recent loss, Philly fans are now guaranteed a win Sunday at AT&T Stadium, according to head coach Doug Pederson.
“I know the sky is falling outside. It’s falling and I get that and the fans are feeling just a little bit. We’re going down to Dallas, our guys are gonna be ready to play. And we’re gonna win that football game and when we do we’re in first place in the NFC East,” Pederson told SportsRadio WIP in Philadelphia. “We’re going to control our own destiny and be right where we need to be.”
The sky falling is quite a statement from the coach, whose team is sitting at .500 this season, but the comments certainly express the dire need for a win from the Super Bowl XXVI champs.
