Jameis Winston gave a really awkward pep talk during TNF game against Panthers
Not the most electric pep talk.
NFL quarterbacks are often seen pumping up their teammates with fiery speeches during games.
Jameis Winston, who once had a really awkward pregame speech in New Orleans that we’ll get to in a bit, tried to do that during Thursday night’s game against the Panthers.
I say “tried” because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB seemed to mess up his message and immediately tried to correct himself right after.
Winston was walking down the bench slapping five with teammates when he said this:
“We go, we all go.”
Then he stopped and went back to a lineman and tried to fix it but only made it more confusing:
“Hold up. I didn’t want to go ‘y’all go.’ I wanted to say ‘We go, we all go.’ That’s alright. Yeah, let’s go.”
Get fired up!
Here’s how it went down. You have to crank the volume but look at the lineman at the end, who was far from pumped up by the whole thing:
Here’s that time he licked his fingers before a game against the Saints:
Not great.
Fans agreed:
It must have worked, however, as the Bucs held on to win 20-14.
