Galatasaray have signed Henry Onyekuru on a season-long loan from Everton. The Nigerian joined the Toffees ahead of the 2017-18 season, but was immediately loaned out to Anderlecht. FIFA have named Argentinian Nestor Pitana as the referee for Sunday's World Cup final between France and Croatia. Wolves midfielder Prince Oniangue has joined Ligue 1 side Caen. The Congo international moved to Molineux from Reims in 2016, but fell out of favour with then manager Paul Lambert. Mikel Merino has left Newcastle United for Real Sociedad after just one season at St James' Park, the club have confirmed.
