Nike s focus on the global effect of basketball (thus, the WORLD Basketball Festival) will be on full force this Summer as the Olympic Games get ready for one of the most popular events of the quadrennial sports tradition. Patrick Mills of the San Antonio Spurs will nike air huarache trade in his stirrups for this Nike Lunar Hyperdunk PE as he gets ready to represent his Home continent of Australia during the upcoming Games; it features a PM PE logo of his initials colored up in a bright voltage yellow and forest green to match the Australia basketball kit colors (just like the Volt/Gorge Green colorway that dropped two weeks ago). Will we see Australia at the podium nike presto at the end of the Games?
The baseball diamond isn t exactly a prime platform to show off good-looking kicks. First off, the shoes need to be equipped with turf/grass-ready builds, and by game s end the shoes are all dirtied up anyway! However, notable footwear has slowly seeped into the MLB thanks to guys like Brian Wilson, who rocked Mags before anyone else did (in a dirty MLB dugout of all places), C.C. Sabathia, the reigning Air Jordan Cleat PE king, and Jimmy Rollins, the latest to whip out some neck-breaking affair.Over the 2012 MLB All-Star festivities, we noticed quite a collection of colorful cleated footwear starting with the Home Run Derby on Monday night, when the contestants wore the Home Run Derby PE of the Nike Air Max MVP Elite 3/4 Metal (and a bunch of other nike air max 2017 colorways during the All-Star Game, like David Wright and Melky Cabrera s Hot Orange PE).
The various Dunks will always be the darling of the Nike SB lineup, but as of late we ve seen the team put more and more effort into cooking up brand new silhouettes particular their little subdivision. The latest of these is the Nike SB Highbred, a model that immediately owes a fair amount to a handful of chukka type Swoosh predecessors like the Toki for example. Don t get it twisted though the model is indeed ready to be skated, crammed with some hefty padding on the insdies and the same Lunarlon insole as the Nike Zoom Koston 1. Continue reading for the first real look at the sneaker and let us know what you think about the Spring 2013 Nike SB Highbred.
We just put you up on the exclusive shots of the upcoming Barcelona styled pairs of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, but as it turns out, LeBron also has a little bit of Heat left in the stash as far as energetic unreleased colorways go. The pair pictured above was recently Instagrammed by LeBron James himself, apparently known as the Nike LeBron 9 Low LeBronold Palmer . The sneaker paints the Hyperfuse upper with an uber bright all-over palm tree print, sort of in the same vein as the Flamingo version of the LeBron 8 Low, with the namesake mixed drink spotted pictured on the insole. Hit the jump for a better look at the Arnold Palmer -inspired Nike LeBron 9 Low and keep it locked with Sneaker News for word on whether or not these will hit retail.
Last week, Sneaker News showed you a new JD Sports-exclusive Air Max 95 that managed to blend the store s penchant for blue gradients with a theme celebrating its location (a city that just so happens to be the site nike air max 2016 of the 2012 Olympic Games). Now we see a similar theme applied to one of the Ninety-Five s predecessors, and though this one also has a certain signature look about it, it s not entirely of JD s creation. The Nike Air Max 90 London features the same Underground outsoles as the 95s, but an Infrared-style colorup (albeit with a slightly truer shade of red) has been an icon for over two decades. It s interesting to see that time-tested look paired with the icey outsole, so have a closer look after the jump and grab yours from JD Sports.
