June is a lovely time of year to get married in Central Park.  This is really the start of Summer in New York, but the heat and humidity that we sometimes have to deal with in high Summer has not yet kicked in, instead the weather is usually sunny, dry and quite lovely.

Reports are coming out of Iran that say the Iranian regime is threatening to destroy the graves of Mordechai and Esther are, supposedly, or possibly, buried in Hamadan in Iran. In the place of the graves, the Iranian regime would build a consulate for the Palestinian Authority.

The grave site would be replaced with a Palestinian Consulate as retribution for Trump's Deal of the Century.

I received an ARC of No Parking by Valentine Wheeler and was instantly intrigued by the description. Older main characters, bi and ace characters, they're snowed in together? I'll pick that up! According to this report in JPost, people ordering goods from Amazon to towns in the Palestinian Territories seem to be faced with a dilemma.

The dilemma is that they can either enter the shipping address as being in the Palestinian territories, but then the free shipping promo to Israel does not apply and they have to pay the regular exorbitant Amazon shipping fees, or they can get the free shipping by entering the address as being in Israel but then they are using Israel as their home country name rather than Palestinian Territories.

Well, it actually happened. After an organization meant to help improve the efficiency of the trains commented critically, and then retracted, on the installation of a booth for putting on tefillin in a train station, Minister of Transportation Betzalel Smotritch criticized them and said anybody can set up such a booth in train stations and if there is any trouble he will help get it approved.
