The thirty-sixth installment of Keith Olbermann's bi-weekly series, The Closer, produced by GQ, focuses on the horrific possibility of an America where Donald Trump's own media network would not only be a reality, but a means of destroying our most important freedoms with surgical precision.
Keith describes the horrors that Katy Tur, (Olbermann's ex-girlfriend coincidentally) has experienced at the hands of the unhinged violent followers incited by Trump himself:
He says this every single day yesterday. He singled out, for the third time one reporter, my ex-girlfriend incidentally, Katy Tur from NBC, still a dear friend she was harassed by the simpering bullies who populate the Trump crowds but she is fine because unlike them or Trump she's neither a coward nor fascist. Still abusing the media encouraging the incitement of physical harm against them that always whips up a Trump crowd, but it's also a preview. His his son-in-law Jared Kushner was rumored this week to be using personnel recruiters to try to staff up Trump TV, which starts the obvious cognitive dissonance thing; echoing again Trump TV means his family expects him to lose the election, right?
Keith suggests the actual purpose of this horrid network: to be the propaganda arm of the Trump Administration (apologies to those who shudder at such a nightmare). Pravda had nothing on the censuring and propaganda-laden garbage he would pass along as actual reality of this disgraceful tyrant wannabe.
