The one type of jacket every guy needs for the summer

Getting dressed up in the summer heat is hard for many reasons. For starters, the only things you really want to wear are a pair of shorts and flip flops with T-shirt.
But when faced with an occasion or setting where that outfit is not an option — say an outdoor wedding or presentation at the office — the mere thought of putting on a full suit is enough to make your perspire.
Simple blazers can instantly elevate a pair of jeans or chinos when you don't have the wherewithal to wear a suit. Though a high-quality blazer won't come to you cheap, it will last you for many years to come and is still generally less expensive than a full suit.
Unless you're spending your summer in the arctic, look for lighter fabrics — like linen and cotton — when selecting a blazer this season. Have a scroll through our favorite summer-friendly options below.
