Dune Part Two has officially arrived on streaming, so you can finally catch all of the action on Arrakis without leaving your couch. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about how to watch Dune Part Two from home.
Dune Part Two picks up where Dune Part One left, finding Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) duking it out against House Harkonnen with the help of the Fremen. The two films are based on the first Frank Herbert Dune novel and set up the plot for the third film, Dune Messiah. Part Two was released exclusively in theaters in March, following Part One's simultaneous theatrical and streaming release in 2021. While Part Two became available to rent or buy in April, it had yet to make its way to a streaming service until now.
Both installments come from Denis Villeneuve, the filmmaker behind Arrival, Bladerunner 2049, and Sicario. Part Two features an all-star cast beyond just Chalamet, including performances from Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, and Anya Taylor-Joy.
If you've been waiting to watch (or rewatch) Dune Part Two from the comfort of your home, the time has finally come. Below, we'll show you how to stream the film in the US and VOD options in the UK.
How to watch Dune Part Two in the US
Dune: Part Two became available to stream in the US on Max on Tuesday, May 21. Max subscriptions start at $9.99 a month for the ad-supported plan. You can upgrade to ad-free for $15.99 a month or try out one of the annual plans, which can save you up to 20% a year.
Max is also the home of Dune: Part One and the forthcoming prequel series, Dune: Prophecy. Emily Watson and Olivia Williams will star in the series, which is slated to premiere on Max this fall.
How to watch Dune Part Two in the UK
Dune: Part Two is available to rent or buy through services like Prime Video in the UK. Renting costs £15.99 a month and purchases cost £19.99. Max isn't available in the UK, but we'll keep this space updated when streaming options become available for Dune: Part Two beyond rental and purchase. As with most Max/HBO content, it could turn up on NowTV, although Netflix UK also had Part 1 recently.
How to watch Dune Part Two from anywhere
If you'll be traveling outside the US when Dune: Part Two drops, you can access your subscriptions via VPN. VPNs (virtual private networks) are handy ways to alter your electronic viewing device's virtual location so that you can access your usual websites and apps from anywhere. Plus, they're solid ways to boost your privacy on the internet. Since the service we've highlighted today requires a US form of payment, this suggestion will be best for Americans who are simply traveling abroad and hoping to access their existing subscriptions.
Our go-to recommendation is ExpressVPN, a tried-and-true option with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Check out our ExpressVPN review for additional details and keep reading to learn how to use a VPN to watch the film.
