The only thing I can tell Azerbaijan is - stop fire! The statement came from Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, at the PACE Spring Session in Strasbourg in response to the question by Ganira Pashayeva, an Azerbaijani delegate, concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Armenian lawmaker Samvel Farmanyan posted on Facebook that the European parliamentarians applauded to Jean-Claude Juncker after his statement.
To note, on the night to April 2, the Azeri army attacked the NKR Defense Army's positions along the entire line of contact, using artillery, armored vehicles and air force.
On April 5 in the afternoon, the sides made a ceasefire arrangement, which has been repeatedly violated by Azerbaijan. The four-day war left dozens of soldiers dead on both sides and also killed civilians, including elderly people, women and children.
The Armenian side received the bodies of 18 soldiers that fell in the recent escalation - all with signs of tortures and mutilation. Earlier, the bodies of another 2 Armenian soldiers were found on the frontline. The Armenian side has suffered several dozens of casualties since the beginning of the hostilities on April 1. There is still one missing.
On the first day of the aggression, a 12-year-old boy was killed on the way to school, and his brother and friend are still in hospital. The Azerbaijanis viciously killed three elders in the village of Talish.
