Law-enforcers searching Stepanakert mayor`s home
ArmInfo. From the report of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, it turned out that the mayor of
Martakert, Misha Gyurjyanyan, who was detained at night, is accused
of stealing a 2010 CHEVROLET LACETTI-1.4 car worth 1,935,000 Armenian
drams.
According to the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Gyurjanyan, in a
preliminary conspiracy with a group of persons with the intention of
stealing a passenger car, on January 12, 2024, together with another
person, appeared at the state body for concluding car alienation
transactions, where V.S., presenting false data on the alienation
authority car.
"On the same day, without legal grounds, acting as a donor, and M.G.
as a recipient of a gift, they drew up a false document certifying a
fact of legal significance - an agreement on the transfer of a gift,
as a result of which the property was illegally alienated
M. G., in other words, having committed the theft of the mentioned
"CHEVROLET LACETTI-1.4" car worth 1,935,000 Armenian drams.
Human rights activists are confident that all these actions of the
investigative authorities of Armenia are politically motivated. In a
similar way, the Armenian authorities are punishing Artsakh officials
who took part in a meeting with the head of the "Tavush for the
Motherland" movement, the Primate of the Tavush Diocese of the
Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan. Previously,
a similar charge was brought against the head of the Askeran
community.
And at this moment searches are taking place in the house of the
mayor of Stepanakert.
