Armenian premier introduces new-appointed justice minister
Karen Karapetyan, Armenian prime minister, introduced Tuesday David Harutyunyan to the justice ministry’s staff as their new minister, the government’s press office reports.
Karapetyan congratulated Harutyunyan on his appointment and wished him success.
He expressed hope that the justice ministry with the newly appointed minister will show “new achievements”.
Harutyunyan, in return, thanked all the justice ministers who have been in office in recent years for the job done and said that he would continue their work properly.
David Harutyunyan, 54, has already been justice minister at a period between 1998 and 2007.
In 2007, he exchanged his ministerial post for a seat in the National Assembly, and from 2014 to 2017 he has been the minister-head of the government’s staff.
On May 25, 2017, he was appointed again as justice minister. --0---
