Armenia’s money stock grew 1.3% to AMD 2 052.1 billion in November
Armenia’s money stock grew 1.3% in November, compared with October, to AMD 2 052.1 billion, the National Statistical Service reports referring to the central bank’s preliminary figures.
Cash outside of the banking sector amounted to about AMD 350.8 billion in late November against about AMD 356 billion in late October.
Demand deposits in drams totaled AMD 235.6 billion against AMD 222.7 billion and time deposits in drams amounted to about AMD 412.9 billion against 401.6 billion.
Deposits in foreign currencies exceeded AMD 1 052.7 billion in November against 1 046.2 billion in the previous month.
Money multiplier stood at 2.42 in late November after growing 0.14 points over the month. ($1- AMD 483.94). --0---
