Armenian construction sector drops by 10 percent
Armenia’s construction sector suffered another drop of about 10%y-o-y in the first ten months of 2016, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
According to the National Statistical Service, population-financed construction fell by 8.1% to 69.1 billion drams.
Corporate-financed construction fell by 12.1% to 126.3 billion drams, humanitarian organizations-financed construction was worth 4.2 billion drams, the government-financed construction slashed by 26.3% to 29 billion drams and community-financed construction was worth 5.9 billion drams.
Also construction financed by loans from international lending organizations increased by 19% to 39.3 billion drams. ($ 1 - 482.84 drams). -0-
