Russian prime minister to visit Armenia April 7
Armenian prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan said his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev will arrive in Armenia on April 7 to attend a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
YEREVAN, March 16. /ARKA/. Armenian prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan said his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev will arrive in Armenia on April 7 to attend a meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). He said the gathering will be attended by prime ministers of the EEU member counties."During the meeting we will try to look into the possibility of paying for Russian gas with Russian rubles,' said Abrahamyan, adding that this issue is being also discussed within the EEU.
Abrahamyan said Armenian- Russian talks over the price of Russian gas continue. According to him, this issue was discussed during a meeting of the Armenian and Russian Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Vladimir Putin on March 10 in Moscow.
Earlier, Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree extending the $165 price for one thousand cubic meters for Armenia for the first quarter of 2016. -0-
