Armenian consumer prices up 7.1% in 11 months of 2021
Consumer prices in Armenia in January-November 2021, according to preliminary data of the National Statistical Committee (NSC), increased by 7.1% compared to the same period of 2020.
YEREVAN, December 27. /ARKA/. Consumer prices in Armenia in January-November 2021, according to preliminary data of the National Statistical Committee (NSC) increased by 7.1% compared to the same period of 2020.
In November 2021, compared to November 2020 the consumer prices were up 9.6% and 1.7% compared to October 2021.
According to the NSC, the prices for manufactured goods increased by 9.9% in January-November 2021 compared to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, manufactured goods prices increased 9.9% in November 2021 compared to November 2020, and remained unchanged compared to October 2020.
Armenia’s 12-month inflation at the end of 2021 will be 8.4-8.5%, according to the chairman of Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan. He made the forecast after the regulator raised the refinancing rate by 0.5% to 7.75%.
