Sixteen people with intestinal infection hospitalized in Vanadzor
Sixteen people-10 children and 6 adults- with symptoms of intestinal infection (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) were hospitalized in the Vanadzor medical center on June 19, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Health reported.
YEREVAN, June 21. /ARKA. Sixteen people-10 children and 6 adults- with symptoms of intestinal infection (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) were hospitalized in the Vanadzor medical center on June 19, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Health reported.
It said thier condition was assessed as severe and moderate. Two children in serious condition were transported to the National Center for Infectious Diseases in Yerevan. Their condition is currently assessed as moderate.
The patients admitted to the Vanadzor medical center have already been discharged.
All sixteen are residents of the Chinchin community of the Tavush region, who went on an excursion to the Lori region.
During the trip, they ate homemade food (boiled chicken wings and pilaf with chicken meat). This food was not kept in the refrigerator throughout the tour. Only the driver, who has no symptoms, did not eat this homemade food. -0-
