Armenia allows 26 Ukrainian entrepreneurs to bring their animal farming products
Armenia has allowed 26 Ukrainian entrepreneurs to bring their animal farming products which meet the Armenian side and the Customs Union’s requirements, the press office of the Ukrainian agriculture ministry reported on Thursday.
“The opening of Armenia’s market is a positive signal for Ukraine’s milk and meat producers,” Vladislava Rutitskaya, Ukrainian deputy agriculture minister, is quoted by interfax.com.ua.
“We are moving not only in the European Union direction, but we are diversifying sales of animal farming products. Ukraine is negotiating not only with Armenia, but also with Kazakhstan to export pedigree cattle as well as dairy and other products. ”
The ministry’s press office also reported that the Ukrainian side has sent to Armenia a list of 65 companies that want to export their products, and negotiations on supply by 39 companies are under way now. ----0----
