The investment program calls for the construction of new gas mains, a compressor station and a gas storage reservoir to expand the capacity of the Abovyan underground gas storage facility. In order to ensure its stable operation the company plans the acquisition of modern equipment and technologies, machines and tools, computers and office equipment.br

As part of its program to increase the number of subscribers Gazprom Armenia will purchase necessary equipment, including gas alarms and automatic emergency valves.br

More precisely, Gazprom Armenia will channel 19.5 billion drams into the expansion of the Abovyan gas storage facility, about 7.7 billion drams in the expansion of the gas transportation network, and 1.1 billion drams in other areas. The company has also earmarked 965 million drams for connection of new subscribers to the network, and plans also to invest 3.1 billion drams in the gas distribution network.br
