Vigen Kocharyan, deputy justice minister, the law will protect family violence victims and will provide them with psychological, legal and social support. Its mission is also to lessen family violence latency.nbsp;br

Kocharyan said the package of amendments implies no bases for parental rights restrictions or anything able to undermine traditional family values. nbsp;br

The law lays groundwork for establishing urgent interference institutions for cases of family violence threat.nbsp;br
br
The law also specifies powers of government agencies and means aimed at settling family conflicts amicably. --0---br
