Karapetyan finds it symbolic that the visit of the head of the Dutch Senate came in the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between Armenia and the Netherlands.br

He said that it will give a new impetus to the relations between the two countries and will spur trade and economic cooperation, which are still sluggish.nbsp;br
br
“We are ready to organize the exchange of visits by delegations of entrepreneurs, which will make it possible to get familiar with Armenia’s opportunities and its favorable business environment and to consider Armenia as platform for access to third countries’ markets,” he said.nbsp;br

The premier singled out agriculture, road construction, water economy, information technology and tourism as promising areas for cooperation.nbsp;br

The head of the Dutch Senate, on her side, rating highly her country’s political dialogue with Armenia, said that the Netherlands attaches importance to expansion of economic ties with Armenia.nbsp;br
br
Armenia’s geographical location, she said, gives the country an important role in the region and enables it to become a bridge between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union in terms of economy. nbsp;br
br
The parties also discussed constitutional reforms and Karabakh conflict settlement along with other issues. --0---br
