Sargsyan expressed his condolences and words of support to the US President, the entire American people and the relatives of the victims, wishing them courage and fortitude, and a speedy recovery to those who were wounded in the attack.br

Such inhuman actions confirm our conviction that terrorism knows no borders, and it is necessary to continue resolutely and jointly nbsp;the international community’ s fight to eradicate this evil directed against humanity, the message reads.br

Together with the friendly people of the United States, we pray for the peace of the soul of the innocent victims and the recovery of the wounded, the Armenian leader said in his condolences.br

At least eight people have died, and 11 were injured in a terror attack in New City on Tuesday. Sayfullo Saipov, a 29-year-old Uzbek national, is suspected to have rammed a pickup truck into cyclists and pedestrians in a bike lane, collided with a school bus, and threatened people with fake guns, police said.nbsp;The victims included five Argentineans and one Belgian. Two other victims remain unidentified. Six of the victims died at the scene, while two died of their injuries in hospital. -0-br
