BeetElite
I first heard of BeetElite from one of my fellow friends in Austin, TX in late summer of 2013. A few months later another friend and doctor from Maine, Jeff Donatello was telling me the benefits of BeetElite. I did some research on it, found a location that sells it and I bought the whole box for retail. Its very rare for me to walk into a store and purchase something but I wanted to give BeetElite a try for myself. When I tried it, I felt like I was able to utilize every little oxygen molecule being adsorbed into my blood stream. Ok most of you who just read that are probably like...”huh?” That’s ok...I felt like I had another gear while going at the same effort level. On the bike I felt like I was pushing 270 watts but I was really pushing 290 watts. During the run I felt like I was running 6:40 pace but I was cruising at 6:20 pace.
HOW? Well its the power behind beets...the nitric Oxide to be exact. Athletes in the last Olympics have been using beets. There are multiple articles on beets and their positive affects on athletic performance.
After I used the full box that I purchased, I communicated with a BeetElite representative and received a box right before Ironman World Championships in Kona, HI. Another Scottsdale, AZ athlete who tried BeetElite is Russ Brandt. We both had great races and had personal bests in Kona.
