Drunk Dutch couple arrested at Fort railway station

 A ‘drunk’ Dutch couple who were travelling in a two compartment sleeper coach on the night train from Batticaloa to Colombo, were arrested in the wee hours of yesterday.

“Railway Security arrested them at the Colombo Fort Railway station,” Railway sources said.

“The security tried to open the door of the compartment they were travelling in at Welikanda and Polonnaruwa, but they did not open it,” sources said.

“The couple was found to have been heavily intoxicated at the time of their arrest,” they said.
