On day, you stumble on one of those pictures you took while growing up and you can’t help but smile at the amazing transformation.
For some, they were really skinny but now they have added flesh in all the right places, others were fat but have now shed some of the weight.
Just like every other person, Nigerian senators have old pictures that remind them of the days when men were boys.

1. Bukola Saraki: Senator of Kwara Central senatorial district, he is the Senate president. He was elected as the governor of Kwara state between May 2003 to May 2011, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was first elected to the Senate in April 2011 and re-elected in the March 2015 elections. He is currently member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
2. Ben Murray-Bruce: In 2011, he ran for governorship of Bayelsa state but was unsuccessful. In 2014, he declared his intention to represent Bayelsa East senatorial district at the National Assembly. He contested under the platform of the PDP and won. He was elected to the Senate in March 2015.

3. Shehu Sani: The senator from Kaduna state contested several times for the Senate but failed. In 2003, he contested under Alliance for Democracy (AD) and lost to Senator Muktar Aruwa of the All Nigerian Peoples Party ANPP. In 2011, he tried again under the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and lost to Senator Sani Saleh in the primaries. Fortunately, in 2015, he contested again on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and won the Kaduna Central senatorial district on 28 March 2015.
4. Oluremi Tinubu: She is the wife of a former Lagos state governor, Bola Tinubu. She was first elected to the Senate in 2011. She was re-elected in 2015 under the platform of the APC and currently represents Lagos Central senatorial district.
5. David Mark: The senator who is from Benue state was president of the Senate from 2007 to 2015. He was elected Senate president on June 6, 2007. He ran for re-election to the Senate for Benue South in April 2011 and was elected for a fourth term. In 2015, he re-contested for the Benue South senatorial district and won. He is a member of the PDP.
6. Ali Ndume: The senator from Borno state was first elected into the House of Representatives in 2003. He became a minority leader in 2007. In 2011, he was elected to the Senate on the platform of the PDP. He later defected to the APC. He was re-elected in the 2015 senatorial elections and is presently the leader of the Senate.

7. Dino Melaye: The Kogi state senator was a former House of Representatives’ member and opposed the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. He was elected to represent the Kogi West senatorial district in the April 28, 2015 senatorial election. He is a member of the APC and is presently the chairman Senate committee on Federal Capital Territory.
8. Victor Ndoma-Egba: He was elected as senator in the 5th National Assembly representing Cross River Central senatorial district in 2003 under the PDP platform. He was re-elected in 2007. He was once again re-elected in 2011. He later defected to the ruling APC.
9. Florence Ita Giwa: In 992, she was elected a member of the federal House of Representatives and was a member of the committee on devolution of power constituent assembly 1994 to 1995. In April 1999, she was elected senator for the Cross River South constituency. She left the Senate in 2003 and joined the PDP.
