Casa Brutale: James Bond style house to be built in Lebanon

An  architectural project branded the 'ultimate Bond villain lair' is now set to be built in Lebanon after its designs went viral last year.

This ambitious architectural masterpiece is called Casa Brutale and it had initially been designed for the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea in Greece, reports the Daily Mail.

However, after a client spotted the design online, it will now become reality some 5,249ft above sea level on a cliff in Lebanon

The new home is described by Open Platform for Architecture (OPA) as “a chameleonic living space, created to serve its owner and respect the environment.”

The minimalist style house looks like a James Bond style villain's lair, hidden away on the coast with all the luxuries needed to keep you occupied.

What makes the house even more appealing is that its location means most of the house is out of sight, making it perfect for any celebrities looking to escape any unwanted attention.

As well as a crystalline swimming pool, the sea cliff wonder contains a master bedroom, a guest room, a sculpted fireplace, a concrete dining table and benches. It also promises a bathroom and storage room.

The project will be built from basic materials, predominantly constructed from heavy concrete slabs and plenty of glass and wood.

The impressive project takes inspiration from the renowned Italian example of modern architecture, Casa Malaparte.

According to OPA, Casa Brutale represents a 'challenging vision of innovative architecture', highlighting its unique intake of natural light.

Heavily leaning on Greece's ancient historical past, OPA describes Casa Brutale  as redefining “the harmonious coexistence of human and nature in a poetic homage to pure Brutalism.”
