Kerr says Iguodala at his best in playoffs
Warriors sixth man Andre Iguodala says he never wants to be a basketball coach.
Iguodala is averaging 10 points, four rebounds and three steals per game in the Western Conference finals, while defending Oklahoma City All-Star Kevin Durant.
Hall of Fame trash-talker Gary Payton is using the media to spew fire at the Warriors, having told Sports Illustrated that the vote just “happened to go” Stephen Curry’s way in his unanimous MVP selection and that Draymond Green cries “all the time” to referees.
“Obviously, Gary Payton was very talkative when he played, so it’s not a big deal,” Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson said of the Oakland native, who played 18 NBA seasons.
Silas, who is a candidate for the Houston head-coaching gig, could be in the running to replace Warriors lead assistant Luke Walton - though Kerr has said he doesn’t want to deal with his staff during the playoffs. …
