Ratings: CBS Catches Up to Fox, ‘American Idol’
Perhaps the bloom is officially off your rose, “American Idol.”
CBS caught up to Fox on Wednesday, ending the singing competition’s weekly winning streak. The two networks tied across primetime in the key 18-49 demographic, both with a 1.7 rating/5 share.
NBC and ABC tied for third in that demo, each averaging a 1.5/5 throughout the night.

CBS and Fox tied for first in ratings, both with a 1.7 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. CBS was first in total viewers with 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. Fox was third in total viewers with 6.5 million viewers.
For CBS, “2 Broke Girls” at 8 had a 1.7/6 and 6.7 million viewers. At 8:30, “Mike & Molly” got a 1.6/5 and 7 million viewers. “Criminal Minds” at 9 received a 2.0/6 and 9.1 million viewers. At 10, “Code Black” posted a 1.4/5 and 7.2 million viewers.
NBC and ABC tied for third in ratings with a 1.5/5. NBC was second in total viewers with 6.8 million, ABC was fourth with 5.4 million.

For NBC, “The Mysteries of Laura” at 8 had a 1.2/4 and 7 million viewers. At 9, “Law & Order: SVU” got a 1.7/5 and 6.9 million viewers. “Chicago PD” at 10 received a 1.5/5 and 6.4 million viewers.
The CW was fifth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 2.3 million. “Arrow” at 8 had a 1.1/4 and 2.8 million viewers. “Supernatural” at 9 got a 0.7/2 and 1.8 million viewers.
Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in viewers with 1.8 million.
Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million.
