Bernie Sanders' newest ad is a Simon and Garfunkel music video

There is no somber doomsday talk in Bernie Sanders' latest video ad, nor clips of his opponents' gaffes. Instead, Sanders is hitting Iowa with a powerful video in which the only words at all are the lyrics of "America," sung by Simon and Garfunkel:

While "America" is basically an inspirational music video with Bernie Sanders' approval at the end, that doesn't mean the ad isn't effective. The New York Times calls it "vastly different" from anything else in the race, "strikingly [in contrast] with Mrs. Clinton's own minute-long closing argument to Iowans, which is replete with grave warnings and bold promises."
