Raiders cornerback DJ Hayden has his hands full in practice

Cornerback DJ Hayden has had some good days at training camp, but the majority have been a little frustrating, with the Raiders’ two new receivers, Michael Crabtree and Amari Cooper, making all kinds of catches in front, over and behind him.

Two plays later, Carr and Crabtree went after him again, and Hayden stayed close … but was called by the official at practice for pass interference.

Two plays after that, Crabtree beat Hayden to the corner of the end zone for a touchdown catch.

“I don’t know what his rap was with the Niners, but Crab’s out here every day looking like one of the best receivers in the league,” Butler said.

Crabtree’s catch marked the end of the Raiders’ last training camp practice in Napa.

Tight end Clive Walford, who missed the first nine days of camp with a hamstring injury, played well in last Friday’s exhibition opener and has missed the four practices since.
