Kevin Durant won’t be on minutes restriction in Saturday return

Warriors forward Kevin Durant will no longer be on a minutes restriction when he returns Saturday from a left knee injury that has sidelined him 19 games. Over the past two weeks, when discussing Durant’s return, head coach Steve Kerr had reiterated his hope to slowly ease Durant into the rotation. Kerr will start Durant in Saturday’s game against the Pelicans and monitor him for fatigue. The “only tricky part” of Durant’s return, Kerr said, is reshuffling the rotation.
