HP Inc. shares higher after company raises Q3 earnings expectations
Shares of HP Inc. shot higher late Tuesday after the hardware company raised its expectations for the third quarter. HP said in a filing it expects adjusted net earnings of 43 cents to 46 cents a share for the quarter. The company said last month third-quarter adjusted earnings would hover around 37 cents to 40 cents a share. The estimates exclude 3 cents a share related to restructuring charges, amortization, and other items. Shares of HP rose 3.2% in late trading after ending the regular session up 2%.
