One of the emotional moments at the funeral of the late minister of state for labour and productivity, James Ocholi, was when his only surviving son, Aaron, mounted the podium to pay tribute to his dad.

As he read his tribute, tears welled up in the eyes of all present because of the touching words he reeled out from the book he was reading from.
Aaron said: ”Dad, mum, brother I wasn’t and couldn’t have been prepared for your departure, but I will rise to the responsibilities. I promise. I do not judge by your works but by the comfort of my spirit that you are all before our heavenly father. Love you forever and always.”

Ocholi was buried alongside his wife, Blessing and son, Joshua amidst tears by family, friends and admirers at his country home in Abocho community in Dekina local government area of Kogi state on Friday, March 18.
