Eight pedestrians hurt in Gauteng crash
Eight pedestrians were injured when two cars collided before ploughing into them as they were waiting for transport in Woodmead.
|||Johannesburg – Eight pedestrians sustained moderate to serious injuries when two cars collided before ploughing into them as they were waiting for transport in Woodmead, Johannesburg on Thursday, ER24 said.
“Upon arrival, paramedics found the pedestrians lying all over the road. The vehicles were still on the road,” the paramedic service said in a statement.
“They were treated by paramedics and transported to various hospitals for further medical care.”
The drivers of the two vehicles were unharmed.
Police were on scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
