Breaking News: Kaduna state to drag 41 people to court for belonging to a gang called 'Sarasuka' (List)

- Forty-one men arrested and arraigned in court for belonging to a gang in Kaduna

- The suspects reportedly belong to a gang called 'Sarasuka'

- The were arraigned for killing innocent citizens and terrorising the state

The Kaduna state Security Council has arrested forty-one men for reportedly belonging to the dreaded Sarasuka gang terrorising the state and killing people.

The suspects who were arrested at different places in Zaria and Kaduna, are also popularly known as Yan-Sara-Suka or Yan-Shara.

The suspects were reportedly arrested with dangerous weapons and will be charged for illegal possession of weapons and disturbance of public peace.

According to Governor Nasir El-Rufai's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Samuel Aruwan, four other men are to be tried for terrorism and possssion of dangerous weapons. They are:

1. Haruna Usman

2. Bdiya Garba

3. Salem Shuaibu

4. Ashiru Abdullahi

Meanwhile, Four Fulani herdsmen were reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in Kajuru local government of Kaduna state.

The death of the four herdsmen was confirmed by the national secretary of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Abdullahi Ibrahim on Saturday, July 15.

According to Ibrahim, the incident follows an abduction of two Fulani indigenes in the area.
