Kazakhstanis report Telegram outage
Tengrinews.kz — Users across Kazakhstan are reporting widespread disruptions affecting the Telegram messenger. Data from the Detector404 service also indicates problems with the platform.
According to the outage monitoring service, over the past hour the largest number of Telegram-related reports came from Astana, which accounted for 35 percent of all complaints when adjusted for population.
Karaganda Region followed with 12 percent, Pavlodar Region with 9 percent, Kostanay Region with 8 percent, and East Kazakhstan Region with 7 percent.

Users are primarily reporting problems with the Telegram mobile app, which accounted for 58 percent of complaints over the past 24 hours. Another 38 percent experienced notification issues, while 3 percent reported a general service outage.
By operating system, the largest share of reports came from iOS users — 43.5 percent. Android accounted for 35.1 percent of complaints, Windows for 16.6 percent, and Mac OS X for 3.8 percent. Another 1 percent came from other devices.

According to data from the DownDetector monitoring service, app disruptions were also the most commonly reported problem, accounting for 68 percent of complaints. In 17 percent of cases, users reported problems sending messages, while another 9 percent experienced difficulties logging into their accounts.
Users also complained about being unable to upload media, connect to the network or send messages.
At the time of publication, the cause of the Telegram disruptions had not been reported.
