Kazakhstan begins introducing unique plant protection system
Tengrinews.kz – A unique system for protecting plants from pests has begun to be introduced in Kazakhstan, citing 24.kz.
The project was launched in an apple orchard in Almaty region jointly with Chinese partners. Special smart traps help detect pests in real time and immediately transmit the information to a digital system.
Thanks to this, farmers can identify threats in advance and take action more quickly. The new technology helps not only preserve the harvest but also reduce the number of plant treatments.
If the project shows good results, farms across Kazakhstan will be able to use such a system. In the future, it is planned to be applied not only in orchards but also in the cultivation of other agricultural crops.
