Tengrinews.kz — The Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan and Turkey have established strong relations based on mutual respect, brotherhood, and friendship, citing Akorda.
The President of Kazakhstan made this statement today during a press conference following negotiations with his Turkish counterpart.
"Undoubtedly, great credit for this belongs to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has made a significant contribution to strengthening the unity between our two nations. He also exerts immense effort to enhance Kazakh-Turkish cooperation in the socio-political, social, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Therefore, I have decided to award my dear friend and brother, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with the Order of Qoja Ahmet Yasaui, named after the prominent spiritual leader of the Turkic world. This decision reflects Kazakhstan's profound respect for the people and the President of Turkey. I would like to emphasize that Mr. Erdogan has become the first recipient of this high honor," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
It is worth noting that earlier today, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his visionary policy aimed at strengthening the brotherhood between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
