Second gold as Whitlock wins on pommel horse
Max Whitlock claimed his second gymnastics gold for Britain in Rio on Sunday winning pommel horse gold, to add to the floor crown he won earlier.
Whitlock, 23, had earlier become the first Britain to win an Olympic gymnastics gold with his floor success and just over an hour later added a second on the pommel horse.
The reigning world champion on the apparatus scored 15.966 to take the title ahead of British teammate Louis Smith (15.833). American Alexander Naddour scored 15.700 to win the bronze.
It is Whitlock's fifth Olympic medal and third in Rio after also taking bronze in the all-around.
