The hype started with posts from English-speaking bloggers. One user shared a photo of the athlete, stating he was ready to give up his French passport just to be closer to her.

In the comments, users have dubbed her "the most beautiful person in the world" and compared her to Joanna Dark, the legendary protagonist of the spy thriller video games.
"Meeting a girl like this even once would change your life," one commenter wrote.
About the athlete
We reached out to Jasmin Begalinova to find out how she feels about her sudden fame. The 18-year-old lives in Ust-Kamenogorsk and is currently studying at a sports college to become a coach. She plans to dedicate her future entirely to sports.
"I see my future in sports and plan to develop in this field not only as an athlete but also as a professional specialist," she noted.
Jasmin took up track and field only three years ago but has already achieved the rank of Candidate for Master of Sports in the long jump. Before that, she spent seven years playing basketball.
The photos currently being discussed across the globe were taken at the recent Kazakhstan U23 Championships in Shymkent.
"I think the most significant event for me was the recent competition in Shymkent, where I took third place. It was the Kazakhstan Championships. Previously, I always finished fourth at the nationals. For some reason, that position seemed to follow me at almost every competition. However, this time I managed to win bronze. It is especially valuable to me because I was competing not only in my age category but also against girls who are significantly older than me," she shared.

Jasmin only learned about her social media popularity yesterday and is still in a state of slight shock.
"I never thought these photos would attract so much attention; to me, they were just ordinary shots. I didn't think there was anything special about them, so I didn't expect this reaction at all. However, many people saw something interesting and attractive in them," she said.
Notably, her Instagram account gained over 7,000 followers in just a few hours.

Despite her sudden fame, Jasmin has no plans to transition into full-time blogging. Her primary goal now is to reach the Master of Sports standard and qualify for international competitions.
"Every time I come to training, I imagine myself one day competing at the Olympic Games and representing my country. This dream motivates me to work, overcome difficulties, and constantly improve. But for now, the main goal is becoming a Master of Sports. This step will be the most important milestone on my journey toward further achievements," the athlete said.
However, sports is not her only passion. In her free time, she plays guitar, listens to music, and sews clothes.
"In addition to sports, I am drawn to the world of fashion and design. In the future, I would like to become a designer because I love creating looks and helping people find their style. In my spare time, I sew clothes and enjoy experimenting with the appearance of things. I am particularly fond of unconventional styles: in today's world, it is important to express your individuality and not be afraid to stand out," Jasmin shared.
