OSBI investigates murder in Muldrow
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has released information regarding its office being requested to assist with a homicide located in the town of Muldrow, Oklahoma.
MULDROW, Okla. (KFOR) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has released information regarding its office being requested to assist with a homicide located in the town of Muldrow, Oklahoma.
According to officials, Monday, Muldrow officers responded to a disturbance call near Southwest Third Street and South Baker Street in Muldrow. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered 55-year-old Nekaita Nance deceased with an apparent stab wound.
Police officials confirm, Muldrow police officers made contact with 34-year-old Matthew Whitfield, who was on scene when officers arrived.
OSBI officials say, special agents conducted a crime scene investigation and interviewed Whitfield and with information and evidence obtained from the scene, Whitfield was arrested and booked into the Sequoyah County Jail on a First-Degree Murder charge.
