‘Run don’t walk’ bargain hunters go wild for Poundland’s Sol de Janeiro dupe dry shampoo that smells ‘incredible’
IT’S the cult favourite brand that everyone and their mother is talking about – Sol de Janeiro.
The beauty lover favourite recently sent fans into a frenzy after launching their Brazilian Joia Refreshing Dry Shampoo, which has already been sold out on Amazon.
Unlike the posh version, which is priced at £24, Poundland’s dry shampoo sells for an affordable £1.50[/caption] Not only will your locks feel clean and have nice volume to them, the product will also make your hair smell beautiful[/caption]Luckily, if you’re on the lookout for a dupe that sells just for a fraction of the price – but still smells just as ”incredible” – keep on reading, as cash-savvy bargain hunters have come to rescue.
According to one beauty enthusiast, only known as Lucy Allen, you can now get your hands on a purse-friendly version of the Sol de Janeiro dry shampoo on the high street.
What’s more, not only is the packaging almost identical but the bargain product – available at Poundland – sells for £1.50.
Advising fellow shoppers to not sleep on the deal, Lucy took to TikTok to proudly share her incredible find.
”Run, don’t walk to Poundland for this Sol de Janeiro dry shampoo dupe.”
Just like the real thing, which sells for an eye-watering £24 at Harvey Nichols, Poundland’s Sol Fiesta Dry Shampoo comes in a vibrant yellow and summery spray bottle.
Similarly to the high-end version, the budget-friendly dupe boasts notes of pistachio and salted caramel – and the aroma has already been dubbed ”incredible” by fans.
”With sweet notes of salted caramel and nutty richness of pistachio for beautiful smelling hair,” reads the little blurb on the back of the packaging.
Not only will it refresh your locks between washes, but the £1.50 bargain buy will also revitalise ”dull and lifeless hair”, whilst also adding extra volume.
All chuffed with her purchase, Lucy confessed in the caption that she wasn’t even aware the dry shampoo was a cheaper version of the Sol de Janeiro cult favourite product.
”Didn’t even realise it was a dupe until I got home, smells incred [incredible],” she penned by the video.
Since being posted on the platform, where the beauty enthusiast shares content under the username @lucyyallenx, the clip has racked up more than 30k views.
One tagged their pal, writing: ”Are u [you] joking, we were there a minute ago.”
”I know you like a dupe so thought I’d tag you,” another told their friend.
”WE NEED SOME,” a group of Poundland fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on the bargain buy.
