Juventus plotting move for £45m-rated Man Utd player - Report
Juventus have reportedly joined the race for Manchester United loanee Mason Greenwood.
The 22-year-old has had a great resurgence in form since moving to Getafe on loan last summer.
In 32 appearances across all competitions, he has scored 10 goals and provided six assists for the Spanish outfit.
Greenwood’s return to Old Trafford for the next season is not expected due to the potential backlash from supporters following charges of rape and assault that were later dropped.
With the summer transfer budget tight at the club, the Red Devils will likely be looking to sell the player.
They are understood to want around £40-45 million to allow the England international to leave.
Two Premier League clubs have been linked with an interest in the young forward’s services, and Juventus are now the latest club to join the transfer race for him.
According to Gazzetta, the Serie A giants are considering an approach for the 22-year-old.
They have reportedly been keeping tabs on the forward’s progress in Spain and could make a move this summer with several players likely to depart the Allianz Stadium.
Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in Greenwood who has a contract at Old Trafford until 2025.
