Softball
Dundalk 12, Hereford 7: After falling behind 4-0 and 7-2, the Owls’ offense erupted. Jayda Gilbert homered and drove in two runs. Oaklyn Johnson doubled twice, singled and drove in a run. Justice Smith finished with two hits and two RBIs. Alessa Sergi singled and totaled two RBIs.
Francis Scott Key 1, Century 0: A pitchers’ duel between the Eagles’ Jasmine Kline and the Knights’ Jordan Currie went into the eighth inning scoreless. FSK finally broke through when Lily Reiter singled home Piper Beahm for the walk-off win. Kline threw all eight innings, allowing just one hit while striking out 16. Currie also went the distance, allowing seven hits and striking out two.
Baseball
Pikesville 3, Eastern Tech 0: Issac Garonzik picked up the win on the mound, throwing six innings of three-hit ball. He walked two and struck out five. Tegan Hakim closed the game in the seventh. At the plate, Michael Payne had an RBI single. Ian Davis also drove in a run.
Aberdeen 15, Joppatowne 3: Aberdeen put up six runs in the second to kickstart the offensive onslaught. Ian Walton had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and three RBIs. Jack Morrill had two hits, drove in three runs and scored four. KJ Miller finished with two RBIs.
Girls lacrosse
Gerstell 22, Park 5: Twelve Falcons scored in the decisive win. Carter Eberle, Sara Fenwick and Addy McIlvain each netted hat tricks in the win. Cambrie Franks, Reese Eberle, Piper Gallagher and Whitney McIlvain all finished with two goals with Franks handing out two assists. Maggie Kennedy had a goal and three assists.
