Gamers can’t believe they can grab an excellent 88-rated game at up to 75% off
PLAYSTATION, Xbox and Switch owners can get 2021’s Game of the Year at a massive discount off its regular price.
Just in time for the long weekend, players can pick up a fantastic deal on a family-friendly co-op masterpiece.
It Takes Two is available at up to 75% off across several platforms[/caption] It’s a co-op game where two players need to work together to overcome obstacles[/caption]It Takes Two is a cozy co-op platformer in which you and another player control an estranged couple trapped inside their daughter’s hand-made dolls.
As you learn to work together to overcome obstacles and reminisce about positive memories, you ultimately help rebuild the couple’s fractured relationship.
The game features a variety of mechanics and challenges from different video game genres, but they all require you to cooperate with your partner.
As the title suggests, it’s a two-player-only game, and you can play in split-screen local co-op or online, as long as you and your partner use the same platform.
Rated 89 on review aggregator Metacritic, It Takes Two also won the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2021, often thought of as gaming’s Oscars.
Usually priced at £34.99 / $39.99, PlayStation and Xbox owners can grab the game from their console’s digital store for just £8.74 / $9.99, that’s 75% off.
If Nintendo Switch is your platform of choice, you can now buy It Takes Two from the eShop for £17.49 / $19.99, still a 50% discount.
What’s great about It Takes Two is that you can invite a friend to join your adventure online even if they don’t own a copy of the game.
The free It Takes Two Friend’s Pass enables another player to play with you, as long as they use the same platform for which you have purchased the game.
You can learn more about Friend’s Pass on publisher EA’s official website. Of course, playing together in the same room requires just one copy of the game.
Depending on your platform, the current discount will last until April 7 for Switch or April 11, 2024, for PlayStation owners.
