Taking to Facebook, a cleaning whizz asked other users for help.
They said: “What’s your go to stain remover for any colour clothes?
“I don’t mind whether it’s an in wash or direct application.”
Dozens of savvy punters rushed to the comments to recommend Elbow Grease spray.
And it won’t break the bank as you can snap up the magic liquid for just £1.20 at Tesco.
Although the easy-to-use spray is made for kitchens and bathrooms, it can also be used to remove any stain on fabrics in no time.
According to the website, the Elbow Grease is a degreaser that can be used all around the home.

All you need to do is spray the liquid on the stubborn stain and wash it all away.

A third posted: “Elbow Grease and washing up liquid rubbed into the stain then into the washing machine with detergent.”
Other cleaning experts also suggested using Astonish Oxy Active Fabric Stain Remover and washing up liquid.
One said: “I use Astonish. I also use washing-up liquid depending on the stain!”
Another added: “Washing up liquid spread over the stain and let it settle and then wash as usual.”
