My patio was gross & looked like a skip but I gave it a glow-up for under £100 using freebies and bargains from Homebase
A SAVVY woman has revealed how she gave her garden and patio a glow-up for less than £100 using freebies and bargains from Homebase.
Maddy shared the garden transformation on TikTok which took her just two days to complete.

In the clip, the university student said: “This is how I did up my student house garden in two days within a £100 budget.”
She then panned around the garden to give viewers a good look at what she was working with.
The grey patio slabs were covered in weeds, and the furniture set was looking worse for wear.
Maddie first started the transformation by de-weeding the patio and spraying it with weed killer.
She added: “This made the garden so much bigger, so much cleaner, so much nicer.”
The money-saver then went on to wash all of the fences with a wood cleaner to get rid of cobwebs.
Maddie was given some free chairs by her neighbour, so began sanding them down and painted them turquoise with paint she found on sale at Homebase.
She then gave all of the furniture a good clean and added some potted plants around the garden to give it some life.
Lastly, she added a parasol, matching cushions to the chairs and some fairy lights to the fence.
The video posted to her account @artschoolcliche has since gone viral with over one million views and over 150k likes.
People were left seriously impressed with the student’s garden glow-up.
One person wrote: “We used to use our student garden as a bin.”
“This garden has been a skip for a year lol I feel you,” Maddie replied.
Another commented: “Looks so cute!”
“Wow it looks amazing,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Well done, it’s class.”
“It looks so beautiful,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Brilliant job.”
