Aaron Rodgers' Former Backup Quarterback DeShone Kizer Reveals the Odd First Question He Asked Him Behind Closed Doors
You would never guess the question that Aaron Rodgers asked his former backup quarterback DeShone Kizer on his first day with the Green Bay Packers back in 2018.
DeShone only spent one season as backup to the now 38-year-old quarterback, who was drafted by the Packers back in 2005 and has been named NFL MVP several times over his career.
During an appearance on The Breneman Show this week, Kizer revealed the first question Aaron asked him when they took part in their first quarterback meeting that season.

DeShone recalled, “He shut the door, and the first thing that came out of Aaron Rodgers‘ mouth was ‘Do you believe in 9/11?’” DeShone responded, “What, do I believe in 9/11? Yeah, why wouldn’t I?”
DeShone continued, “He was like ‘You should read up on that,’ and then we just start learning up about the playbook, and I was like ‘wow I don’t know where this is going.’ What it ended up being was a thought experiment where he wanted me to go back and look into some of the conspiracies around it. We really bonded over that and started sharing some books, and we started talking about some other things. Some history, some business, some finance.”
If you don’t remember, Aaron was involved in a big controversy just about a year ago…
